What we do:

We employ a conservation agreements model and scientific monitoring to enhance the resilience and productive capacity of marine resources recognized as globally-valued natural assets.

Our geographic and thematic focus: The Oceania Project

Marine resource owners in tropical Oceania face a multitude of challenges posed by illicit fishing, over-exploitation of marine resources, land-based pollution, and climate change. In response, we are implementing a scalable solution that combines the efforts of marine resource owners, conservation interests, and scientists under a conservation agreements model.

What's new?:

NaturalEquity founder, Chris LaFranchi, presented on conservation agreements at the 2009 International Marine Conservation Congress in May.
